This Privacy Policy describes how Dealdrive AS, a Norwegian limited company with organization number 934 150 937, with registered address at Arbins gate 2, 0253 Oslo, Norway ("Dealdrive," "we," "us," or "our"), handles personal data collected through our website at dealdrive.co (the "Website").

This policy applies to visitors of the Website and does not cover data processing related to the Dealdrive virtual data room platform.

3.1 Contact Form Submissions

When you submit our contact form, we collect: your name, email address, company name, and the content of your message.

3.2 Advisor Directory Forms

Our advisor directory has its own forms. When you ask to list or update a firm's profile, we collect: the firm name, your work email, your role, and the advisor type you select. When you request the M&A advisor selection guide, we collect: your work email, your phone number, and your consent to be contacted, together with the exact wording of the consent statement you agreed to.

3.3 Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track individual visitors, and does not collect personal data. It provides us with aggregate statistics such as page views and referral sources.

3.4 What We Do Not Collect

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any technology that identifies or follows individual visitors across sessions or websites.

We use the personal data collected through our forms to: respond to your inquiry, send you material you have asked for, follow up on sales conversations, and manage our relationship with you. Where you have given consent to be contacted, we may also reach you by phone.

Submissions are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, the storage service behind our website, and are accessible only to Dealdrive.

Under the GDPR, we process your personal data on the following bases:

• Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)): We have a legitimate interest in responding to inquiries submitted through our Website and managing prospective customer relationships.
• Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): Where applicable, such as if we send you marketing communications beyond responding to your initial inquiry. You may withdraw consent at any time.

We share personal data only with service providers that assist us in operating the Website and handling inquiries — currently Cloudflare, which hosts the Website and stores form submissions. These providers process personal data only as necessary to provide their services and are bound by appropriate data processing agreements.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Dealdrive is based in Norway and our primary data processing occurs within the European Economic Area (EEA). Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA by a service provider, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or transfers to countries with an adequacy decision.

We retain form submissions for as long as necessary to manage the inquiry and any resulting business relationship. Where we hold your data on the basis of consent, we stop processing it when you withdraw that consent. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
