Wiersholm traces its roots to 1875, when Supreme Court lawyer Carl Unger established his firm in Christiania; today's firm was formed in 1990 through the merger of three Oslo law firms. One of Norway's largest law firms — 60 partners, 266 lawyers and 383 employees in total — headquartered in Oslo with a Trondheim office opened in 2022, regularly acting on large domestic and cross-border transactions.
